Adriana Stepien, a soprano from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is in the Undergraduate Vocal Program at The Juilliard School, where she studies with Amy Burton. Miss Stepien has performed at Carnegie Hall in a winner’s recital for the Crescendo International Competition in which she won first place. More recently, she was a third place winner of the Opera Grand Rapids Vanderlaan Prize and semifinalist of the James Toland Competition. She has performed in Juilliard’s productions Suor Angelica (Suor Dolcina) and Der Schauspieldirektor (Mademoiselle Silberklang).
Adriana is also a dedicated voice teacher with experience teaching multiple genres, ranging from classical, pop, musical theater, rock, jazz, folk, and more. She works with adults and children alike, and caters her lessons to the individual needs and goals of each student. She is on faculty at West Amadeus Music Studio, where she enjoys teaching students privately.
