Lower Brass Lessons FAQs

What instruments do you teach?

Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, and Euphonium

Who are the teachers?

Juilliard-trained brass players with a wealth of teaching and performing experience in different genres.

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes! Many of our students and parents prefer online lessons because students progress, while maintaining the convenience of staying at home. We find that online lessons encourage our students to fully understand each concept. It’s easy to simply move a child’s hand in a lesson, but having the student understand the reason behind it and fix the hand on their own is an even more efficient strategy. Take lessons from the convenience of your own space and skip commuting time!

Performance Opportunities?

We offer multiple recitals throughout the year and encourage all students to perform to help increase their confidence and artistry.

How long are lessons?

Either 30, 45, or 60 minutes long.

Where are the lessons?

Lower brass instruments are either in your home, virtual, or in one of our teachers’ personal teaching studios. Learn to play a brass instrument from the comfort of your home.

What age groups and levels do you work with?

Usually, the youngest would be around 9 years old, and any age after that! All levels are welcome.

What styles do you teach?

Any! From jazz to classical to rock to pop to whatever you’re hoping to learn!
